Jesus said ...I also agree with what you are saying. Jesus said I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Our salvation begins the moment we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and from that point on we are being transformed and restored back into God's image. So if God is restoring us to our former state then we must remember our responsibility as stewards over this world. As stewards we are to be involved in loving and caring for this world and working alongside with God to see this restoration take place in not only the lives of individuals, but also in the lives of families, communities and in society in general. So many different types of work can achieve this. Evangelism, community development, lobbying for social justice etc.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3658097024755959565.post-92143961825218782162008-05-27T12:58:00.000-07:002008-05-27T12:58:00.000-07:00i suppose you are going a long way to giving me a ...i suppose you are going a long way to giving me a "new perspective" on tom wright.

I do love that thought at the end of the post (the block quote and following).

Salvation does start at confession. Eternity starts now, not when we die. We need to continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus while we are here, and that is changing radically in our "post-christian" era. We need to show our love and not just tell our love.johnny's fantasy football blog picturehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00140304747597393642noreply@blogger.com
